So once again, life came and decided to setup camp at which point I was pulled away from connecting to all of you and talking about the writer’s journey and all that goes with that. For starters, we had the terrorist attack in Spain. Then things went to chaos at the ranch where my alpacas are, and in the middle of the chaos we had two baby alpacas, which are known as crias, born and those were in my house for a while being bottle fed. So in the last few days it has been utter chaos, and all that I’ve wanted to do is put my energy into getting my alpacas well, and to work on my writing. So when it came to choosing between the alpacas and writing, I chose the alpacas.
But before the chaos came to roost at the ranch, I did register for the Castle Rock Writer’s Conference, which will be Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21. So if you are in the area and want to get an idea of how a writer’s conference work, please, sign up at http://castlerockwriters.com, and I hope to see all of you there.
Also I have gained a few followers during the last two weeks on Facebook, for I’m up to 13 so far, which I’m pretty happy about. I also have continued to get views on this site, as well as twitter and Youtube. So far everything is doing well there, for me.
Now to the big challenge, my manuscript for the Raven Prophecy. I’m rewriting what I have, and the reason why I’m doing this is because while I was reading what I had typed on my current draft of my first draft, I noticed that I had a huge plot hole. This plot hole was pretty big and I’m trying to leave any plot holes, if I can help it. But as I’ve said it is a work in progress, and the work keeps on going.
I want to thank you all for your support and continued fellowship. Hopefully some day I will get up a post on the fantasy genre and some other aspects of writing. As I’ve said from the beginning this site, my business, and everything that comes with it is a work in progress.
